		The majestic mountains of Hudson Highlands surround a major intersection of history, geology and culture. Today, visitors come here to dine, ramble, kayak in the Hudson River and hike the nationally recognized trails. The Highlands is home to a great variety of cultural activities, including eight Preserve America Sites, and the American Heritage River Initiative.
